Ok, I admit it, I haven’t updated this blog with video production related things in a long time (over a year). Currently, while under contracted employment with Beau Monde Productions, I have been hard at work producing and editing various videos for two separate major productions.
The most recent video production I’ve been working on is for an upcoming documentary entitled Paying The Price For Peace: The Story of S. Brian Willson. To my knowledge, we don’t currently have a time frame of when this production will be completely finished, but we are currently in the production phase of this project. I myself think it will most likely be complete within a year. We are currently raising money for our video production campaign through Indiegogo. We need to raise about $55,000 in the next three weeks or so to continue production without any interruptions. If you’re able to donate, we sure would appreciate it!
The documentary follows S. Brian Willson, a Vietnam War Veteran who stood up against the war and spoke out about the wars in El Salvador, Nicaragua, and other Central American nations. On September 1st, 1987, Brian sat in protest on the railroad tracks outside of the Concord Naval Weapon Station in Concord, CA to prevent a train carrying weapons and ammunition that was headed for Central America. The train struck Brian and Brian was hospitalized, in critical condition. He lost his legs, but continued to speak out against the war and continued to protest for several years after the attack he suffered in Concord. In 2012, Brian continues to publicly speak about many topics ranging from the Occupy Movement, the Iraq War, the Vietnam War, the assault of Occupier Scott Olson in Oakland, CA, as well as many other topics.
Below is the most recent video trailer, which I created and edited for my client.

I’ve been working on this video production for about a year, and have even shot some footage which will be used in the final product. Keep an eye out for more information regarding this production, as we are continuing to campaign and raise money and hope to begin the post-production phase by the end of this year.
